If risk is defined as the possibility that your systems fails, then
we have a better approach than the vendor. Software engineering tells us that the more a system is patched, the
higher the failure rate. See the chart below. We
decrease the failure rate by decreasing the interventions and
working on changes that fit your system, not some generic system.
If your system does fail, how do we react to a crisis situation?
We do not close problems until you say they are solved. There
is no throwing the ball back into your court. We are confident
that we have the most experience available in your software.
And remember, TLSG is there, by telephone, in person, on a 24x7
basis -- try calling your vendor's help desk at 3am and getting
someone who understands your problem! How do we
know we are better? We used to be there! Several of our
senior staffers were the experts that the front-line help desks
called when they were in trouble. Senior staffers have also
actually written some of the code still found in some of the vendor
systems. As an independent company, we have outlasted MSA, McCormack , Dun &
Bradstreet, GEAC, and Peoplesoft! Even if the vendor leaves you , we will not.
We have been doing outside support since 1992 and most of our expert
experience stated before 1984.
What if your management, through merger or restructuring, thinks
consolidation of service is what they need to have. We can
prove our service is in their best interest while saving money for
mission-critical projects.
